LMU DECEMBER UPDATE!

The latest Le Mans Ultimate update has just dropped, and wow, it’s a massive one! We’ve got a brand new car, a new track, a tyre model overhaul, and plenty more. Here’s everything you need to know, plus what Simracing Centre has planned to keep you fully race-ready.

NEW CAR AND TRACK

December delivers another exciting piece of ELMS content with the arrival of the Ginetta G61-LT-P325-Evo LMP3 (try saying that twice!). Alongside it comes a fan favourite circuit: Paul Ricard, one of the most popular tracks in simracing thanks to its fast, flowing layout and brilliant multiclass racing.

At Simracing Centre, we’ll be adding Paul Ricard to every car in our library, and we’re thrilled to introduce a brand new addition to our lineup, the Porsche 911 GT3 R. This car is incredibly popular and notoriously demanding, but once mastered, it’s capable of producing some of the quickest lap times in the entire LMGT3 field.

BRAND NEW LMU TRAILOR

UPDATED GT3 TYRE MODEL

One of the biggest gameplay improvements in this update is the introduction of an updated GT3, LMP2, and LMP3 tyre model.

Here’s what LMU players can expect:

  • Better control when the car is sliding

  • More emphasis on tyre heat management

  • Adjusted brake to hub heat transfer

  • Potentially new optimal driving styles per class

It’s too early to say exactly how these changes will affect every car, but we’re excited to get testing and deliver the fastest possible setups based on the new physics.

SIMRACING CENTRE FUTURE PLANS

We’ve got plenty lined up to support this update:

  • Paul Ricard will be added to all existing cars at no extra cost for Ultimate Bundle owners.

  • The Porsche 911 GT3 R joins our car roster, with setups already in production.

  • New setups will continue rolling out daily as we adjust to the updated tyre model.
