WEEK 3 PERFORMANCE GUIDE
This week in the GT3 Sprint we take a trip to the Nurburgring. An iconic circuit known worldwide, but most famous for the 20.8km (12.9 miles) long Nordschleife, featuring 154 corners. However, we are using the Grand Prix circuit which was first opened in 1984 in response to safety concerns with ‘The Green Hell’. To be fast here, you need a car that can perform well under braking and is predictable in the corners to give the driver confidence.
For the GT3 Series the venue this week is Imola! A fast and frightening circuit that demands the most from the driver. Precision braking is essential, particularly into T1 as the car can become unsettled with only minor adjustments. With that in mind, our drivers have hand crafted set ups that handle the characteristics of Imola with ease. They will allow you to beat your personal best lap time here! Below you can view our lap times for this week:
NAMING CONVENTION
For our LFM set ups we are using a new naming convention, so you can distinguish our LFM set ups to our normal set ups. The difference for Season 16 and beyond, is that we have shortened the track and cars names. Below demonstrates this:
