Version 0.1.7.1
Version 0.1.7.1
Hotfix: Fixed an issue that could cause the leaderboard overlay to show placeholders when there were fewer than 20 drivers in the lobby.
Version 0.1.7
NEW
Highlights
- Onboard driver highlighting. The driver you’re onboard with is now highlighted in the leaderboard for improved readability at a glance.
- Track Map Marshal Zones. The Track Map now supports Marshal Zones, and you can switch between Marshal Zones and the Sector View.
- No AI in online qualifying. Fixed a bug where AI drivers could appear in an online session during qualifying.
- Smoother overall experience. Reduced minor lags, micro stutters, and improved general responsiveness.
UI Improvements
- More consistent button placement. Updated button placements across the app for a more consistent experience.
- Pit card animation. Added a smooth appear/disappear animation for the pit card, making changes in pit cards easier to spot.
- Browser overlay start button. Added a button to start browser overlays only when needed, helping improve performance.
- Stable leaderboard layout with flags. Flags no longer push the leaderboard up, and moving icons (e.g., penalty and fastest lap) stay aligned.
- Driver input legend clarity. Improved legend text for the driver input bars.
- Persistent S3 display. Sector 3 now remains visible for the full hold duration.
- Result status clipping prevention. Improved handling of DNF/DSQ/etc. status so it no longer overwrites or clips across leaderboard pages.
- Comparison respects custom driver names. Comparison sectors now correctly apply custom driver name changes.
Fixes & Performance
- No more empty leaderboard flicker. Fixed a brief flicker where the leaderboard could appear empty or disappear for one or multiple milliseconds.
- Correct interval/gap during overtaking. Fixed cases where the leaderboard showed the wrong interval or gap during overtaking.
- Flag icon stability. Fixed a bug where icons like the penalty box and fastest lap indicator could shift position when a flag (e.g., yellow flag) is shown.
- Web server restart reliability. Fixed an issue where the app could show an error and the web server would fail to start after restarting the app.
- Manual page cycling fixes. Fixed manual cycle not changing pages correctly and page skipping.
- Leaderboard page toggles isolation. Fixed a bug where disabling a page in qualifying could also disable it for the race.
- Comparison sector reset. Fixed comparison sectors not resetting correctly after session changes.
- Invalidation reset. Fixed invalidation states not resetting properly when invalidating before lap start.
- Input override behaviour. Fixed override settings always stopping inputs in the current Grid Editor.
- Various other performance improvements, bug fixes, and quality-of-life changes.
Note: This is the last feature update before Version 0.2, which will bring lots of changes, improvements, and new overlays. This next update will take some time, so Version 0.1.7 is the final update of the year. Stay tuned and have fun!
